Net neutrality is that everyone can access to the Internet equally. It doesn’t allow any companies to have special power to have the prerogative on the Internet. Though the term is new, the idea went back to 1860 or even much earlier. Among telephone companies, they must not decide the person we call and the content we talk. Just like this system, any online company should not be permitted to have special power to limit the content we get first and fastest. Net neutrality is a big issue in the U.S. The telecommunications idea has already admitted in the U.S. House of Representatives, and the U.S. Senate passed it, too. There are many debates in this bill. The idea of net neutrality is supported by the companies, such as Google, and Yahoo, which are close to my computer life.

***The Helpful, Useful, and Enjoyable Web Sites***

I will show you three good English web sites, which are You Tube, Mozilla, and Full House’s homepage.
First, You Tube is a helpful site for my research paper. My friend told me it recently when I was looking for recorded interview of Sadako Ogata, who was the president of UNHCR, for my research paper. I couldn’t find what I was searching for there, but I found a short film about Kurd’s history, which would be useful for me. Also, I found an interesting short moving image. You Tube is not only helpful but also enjoyable.

Second, Mozilla is also useful site. There are other sites where I can look for information. For example, Yahoo and Google, but Mozilla has different aspects from them. When I want to see many pages, I can make tubs, and change from one page to the other pages smoothly though I have to take a page from window buttons in the bottom in using the other sites.

Third, Full House’s homepage will be enjoyable to see. I use “will” because I have found this page just now. Actually, I don’t see web sites in English very often, so I searched the site of Full House, which I’m interested in. I enjoy watching Full House on TV. Their English is easy to understand, and its story is funny. I will enjoy watching its web site, too through knowing casts’ biographies, pictures, episode guide, and so on.

These three English web sites are good, I think. I’ll keep using them for study and pleasure

Computer Gifts I Would Buy for Friends & Family

I Pod, which is what I want, is also what I want to give my brother. He is interested in listening to music recently, but he has no portable CD or MD player. He likes using a computer, so I Pod will be good method for him. In addition, I wish there are Poza’s homepage in JAPANESE, and I could give my family it. They (including me) are not familiar with a computer, and may have used only a part of its function so far. The homepage will be very helpful for them to learn computer because it is easy to understand each page with pictures and clear structure as long as it is Japanese!! The original English homepage will be confusing for them…. This is supposition. I don’t know it can be called computer gift, but IF there were that kind homepage, I would like to present it to my family in addition to giving I Pod to my brother.
